- Starting this month, the basic free web page seen by patients with VSP coverage looking for a doctor online will be eliminated. Doctors who elect to have a web link, will now be required to pay from $239.88/yr or 24.95 /mo.
- If you already have a website independent of Eyefinity/VSP, you will be able to hyperlink through the Eyefinity/VSP website described above. You will not be allowed a direct link of your independent website to the Eyefinity/VSP website.
- If you elect not to purchase, your name will continue to be listed under the view more info link.

Subject: Important News About Your "eWeb" Website on the VSP doctor directory
Dear Doctor:
For the past several years, Eyefinity has provided free websites to promote your practice on the Internet. These websites are known as "eWeb" and have a URL including Eyefinity (i.e., eyefinity.comlDrSheldonsEyeCareCenter) and are accessible on the VSP doctor directory.
Currently you have an eWeb website. I am writing to inform you that the free eWeb websites will no longer be available or accessible. In addition, your eWeb link will be removed from the VSP doctor directory. V-. Your practice will still be listed on vsp.com and you will still have a View More Info link in the VSP directory listing that contains similar information found on your eWeb website. However, your actual eWeb website will be removed from the Internet.
I am also taking this opportunity to introduce you to Eyefinity's business solution called eWeb Extra, which enables you to build your own tailored website with your very own web domain name (i.e., www.drsheldon.com), using ready-designed templates that make it easy for you to maintain your own website without having to hire a graphic designer. An eWeb Extra website provides many competitive benefits not available on the eWeb basic websites.

We will begin to phase out the eWeb basic websites in your region in October 2008. Your Eyefinity Account Manager will work with your practice to help explain the phase-out and to thoroughly review all available options with you, including how to sign up for an eWeb Extra website.
